Carpentry License

One of the most popular and high paid trade sectors is building and construction, especially carpentry in Australia. You must have a licence before you do any residential building work in NSW, including carpentry that is valued at more than $5000 (incl GST) in labour and materials. Carpentry means cutting and placing timber (or timber composites) in on site construction work to put up framing or fix components or assemblies used in construction work, such as stairs, windows, doors, wallboards and floors.
