Certificate III in Security Operations, Qualification Code and Units of Competency- CPP31318

DURATION

Three to four weeks after receiving the required portfolio.  During this period, a professional conversation, demonstration of relevant skills, knowledge and experience, and third-party evidence check will be conducted.

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE?

This certificate will give you official level 3 qualifications in Security Operations. People who are educated, trained, caring and wish to work in the Asset Security, Security Operations, Public Safety and Security industry are eligible. Despite the specialised-sounding title, this is a general and highly practical degree for any persons looking to get involved in the business and education industry.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Must hold a current Security Officer’s licensing in the relevant jurisdiction. Also, candidates for the qualification should be 18 years of age or over, have at least 12 years of education or the equivalent and be proficient in English.

PACKAGING RULES

The students enrolled in CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations, units of competency as listed below:

• 14 units of competency:

• 8 core units
• 6 elective units.

The elective units must ensure the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome and are to be chosen as follows:

• a minimum of 4 elective units must be chosen from the elective units listed below
• up to 2 units may be chosen from the elective units listed below, or elsewhere from the CPP Property Services Training Package or other current Training Packages.

Electives selected from outside this qualification must be relevant to the occupational outcome.
