ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

Have completed BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication

or

Have completed the following units (or equivalent competencies): BSBMKG541 Identify and evaluate marketing opportunities; BSBMKG542 Establish and monitor the marketing mix; BSBMKG552 Design and develop marketing communication plans; BSBMKG555 Write persuasive copy; and BSBPMG430 Undertake project work. Equivalent competencies are predecessors to these units, which have been mapped as equivalent.

Have four years equivalent full-time relevant work experience. Also, candidates for the qualification should be 18 years of age or over, have at least 12 years of education or the equivalent and be proficient in English.

 

PACKAGING RULES

The students enrolled in BSB60520 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication, units of competency as listed below:

Total number of units = 12 

4 core units  plus

8 elective units,  of which:

  • 2 elective units must be selected from Group A
  • 3 elective units must be selected from Group B
  • for the remaining 3 elective units:
  • up to 3 units may be selected from Groups A and B
  • if not listed, up to 3 units may be selected from a Diploma or above from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.

 

Elective units must preserve the integrity of the AQF alignment, be pertinent to the work environment and the qualification, and support a legitimate, industry-supported vocational outcome.
