DURATION

Within three to four weeks of obtaining the necessary portfolio.  This time will involve a formal discussion, a third-party evidence check, and a presentation of pertinent abilities, knowledge, and experience.

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE?

You can get official level Diploma degrees in Security and Risk Management with this certificate. Eligible candidates include those who want to work in asset security, security operations, public safety, or other related fields and who possess education, training, and compassion. This degree, despite its specialized name, is generic and extremely useful for anyone wishing to work in the commercial or educational fields.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

One must currently possesses a valid security officer license in the applicable area. In addition, applicants must be fluent in English, be at least eighteen years old, and have completed at least twelve years of schooling or its equivalent.

PACKAGING RULES

The students enrolled in CPP50611 Diploma of Security and Risk Management, units of competency as listed below:

• 12 units of competency:

• 7 core units
• 5 elective units.

The elective units are chosen as follows:

• 5 elective units listed below
• 2 of the units may be chosen from other Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualifications in CPP07 or another current Training Package or state accredited course, provided the integrity of the AQF alignment is ensured; they contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome; and that no more than 1 unit is from a Certificate IV qualification.
