ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for admission to this program must be able to show that they are vocationally competent in the subject areas they intend to teach and assess. Broad industry knowledge and experience are considered vocational competencies. This might include, but is not limited to, possessing an appropriate unit of competency or certificate. In addition, applicants must be fluent in English, be at least 18 years old, and have completed at least 12 years of schooling or its equivalent.

 

PACKAGING RULES

The students enrolled in TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, units of competency as listed below:

Total number of units = 10 

9 core units  plus

1 elective unit 

The elective unit may be:

  • from the elective list below
  • from any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at Certificate IV or above.

The elective unit chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
